I’m Hannah, a dedicated mental health counsellor committed to supporting individuals on their journey toward healing and personal growth. With a compassionate and non-judgmental approach, I provide a safe space where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and challenges. My goal is to empower you to better understand yourself, develop coping strategies, and create meaningful change in your life. Together, we can work towards a healthier, more fulfilled life.

Degrees in Clinical Mental Health Counselling and Dance / Movement Therapy. I have experience working in addiction and rehabilitation, the educational sector, and corporate well-being consulting. I have particular expertise in working with youth ages 12 and above, as well as adults. My practice is consistent with the Code of Ethics of the NZAC. In line with this, I receive regular supervision for my work.

How it works

The first session will be to see if we will be a good fit; the most important aspect of counselling is to have a good trusting relationship with your therapist. Please feel free to get in touch below, or through the Book a Session tab.

Platform

I have an office located in Milford in the North Shore, and in Parnell. I also accommodate online or phone sessions as well. At an additional cost, a home visit can be discussed if it is necessary.

Modality

I operate from a narrative therapy approach, and work with a person-centered lens; this means our sessions will be strengths-based, and will focus on your potential and how to best approach issues you are facing with the tools you already possess. 

Cancellation policy

Please note that cancellation or rescheduling requires 24 hours notice; otherwise, a full session fee will be charged. Certain exceptions are made for unexpected circumstances.

Time and Cost

A typical session will run 50 minutes, for $150.

Confidentiality

Confidentiality is key to establishing a trusting relationship between a client and therapist. Please know that the only time confidentiality will have to be broken is when there is any risk to self/others/from others that are discussed. In this case I will notify you if this needs to happen; you will be part of the conversation.
